Shopping
Here goes. We could be here all day - and still not list all the retail opportunities in the Miami Valley. Whether your style is mall or boutique, it's here in Dayton. Some of the larger retail sites include:

The Dayton Mall

Over 150 stores with anchors including Elder-Beerman, JC Penney, Macy's and Sears. Located in Miami Township, south of Dayton near I-75 and State Route 725.

The Mall At Fairfield Commons

More than 170 shops, including anchors Macy's, Elder-Beerman and Sears. Located in Beavercreek, northeast of Dayton, near I-675 and Fairfield Road.

The Greene

This new, upscale, open village concept mall is located at the corner of Indian Ripple and I-675 where Beavercreek, Kettering and Sugarcreek Township meet. It's the hottest mall in town.

Town & Country Shopping Center

It's not the number of stores-although there are more than 50 here-but their unique selections that distinguishes Town & Country Shopping Center from its competitors. The first strip mall in America, Town & Country is now a fully enclosed upscale shopping center. Located off State Route 48 in Kettering.

And just a short drive away (30 minutes south, or east) are two major outlet malls where you can save 30-70 percent off retail:

  • Prime Outlet Center (with 100+ stores), off I-71 near Jeffersonville, 30 miles east of Dayton
  • Cincinnati Outlet Mall (with 100+ stores) off I-75 near Mason, 30 miles south of Dayton.

Tired of malls? To the south, along State Route 48, are the Shops of Oakwood, a seven block district of small boutiques and designer shops. There are also literally hundreds of small retail shops tucked away throughout the region in strip malls, main streets and side streets. Enjoy !
